Wrightwood is a quiet mountain village with many things to do for the outdoor enthusiast. It is conveniently located near the Inland Empire, High Desert, Orange county and LA basin with an easy 15 minute drive from the Interstate. We enjoy our snowfall in the wintertime but usually have moderate temperatures. Here are some of the activities you may enjoy here in Wrightwood.

Wintertime Skiing & Snowplay
Mountain High Resort ski area is located within minutes from the village. It was the number one ski area in Southern California last year. Come play in the snow!

Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Wrightwood is a hiker's paradise. You can hike part of the Pacific Crest Trail along with many other trails. You can enjoy ranger nature walks from Grassy Hollow Ranger Station on summer weekends. To the west of town is Jackson Lake where you can enjoy a spot of fishing. A short drive east of town is Silverwood Lake—take along a picnic lunch and go swimming on a hot summer day. Or simply enjoy the quiet of a summer evening stargazing through the pines. Winter snow, spring flowers, cool summers, fall colors—Wrightwood is truly a land of four seasons.

Many enjoy browsing through the antique stores and craft shops in the village. And did you realize how close we are to the outlet malls? Barstow is just an hour's drive and Ontario Mills is just 35 minutes away.
